About the Firm
Our client is a SFC-regulated real estate private credit and special situations investment manager headquartered in Hong Kong. The firm specializes in opportunistic real asset investments, distressed debt, and complex credit solutions across developed markets.

Role Overview
Seeking an experiencedVice President to join the investment team. You will lead deal sourcing, execution, structuring, and active portfolio management across private credit and real estate private equity investments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Origination & Sourcing: Independently source and screen private credit, real estate PE, and special situations opportunities.
2. Execution & Structuring: Drive end-to-end deal execution, including transaction structuring, term sheet negotiation, due diligence, and closing mechanics.
3. Complex Transactions: Structure private credit, preferred equity, and loan restructurings for distressed assets.
4. Documentation: Partner with external counsel to review and negotiate facility agreements, security packages, and intercreditor arrangements.
5. IC Presentations: Prepare high-quality investment memoranda and present thesis recommendations to the Investment Committee.
6. Portfolio Management: Lead ongoing portfolio monitoring, covenant tracking, loan restructurings, and exit planning.
7. Mentorship & Networks: Expand industry networks and guide junior team members on deal workstreams.

Key Requirements

1. 7+ years of experience in Private Credit, REPE, Special Situations, Investment Banking, or Distressed Debt (High-potential candidates with 3-5 years of experience may be considered for an Associate role)
2. Strong financial modeling, valuation, returns modeling, and credit analysis skills (LTV, DSCR, ICR).
3. Proven experience in transaction structuring and loan restructurings within common law jurisdictions.
4. Degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field. CFA or CPA preferred.
5. Fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
