Description
About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Treasury Analyst - Assistant VP, to support profitability and funding strategies and related analytics across the firm. As part of Capital Allocation and Funds Transfer Pricing (CAFTP) team, you will partner across Finance and business units to build expertise in a dynamic environment and help accelerate the company's financial objectives.
In this role, you will:
- Support the assessment of business initiatives across the company and their economical attractiveness within the CAFTP framework
- Analyze balance sheet trends and monitor key CAFTP outcomes for lines of business
- Prepare analyses and presentations for senior leadership and partner discussions
- Collaborate across Treasury, Finance, and Risk teams to support analyses, gather data, and validate assumptions
- Analyze and execute adjustments to balance sheet forecasts and actuals to support CAFTP methodologies
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reporting, documentation, and controls within the CAFTP framework
- Partner with Model Risk Management to support model development and monitoring
- Maintain clear documentation, controls, and governance routines to support accurate CAFTP reporting and analysis
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong working relationships
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Basic understanding of interest rate risk management, liquidity management, or other treasury regulatory capital concepts
- Experience preparing analyses, reporting, or presentation materials for management
- Experience working in a regulated financial services environment
- Experience with data management or reporting tools
