Job Type: Temporary
Shift Available: Day shift

Principal Accountabilities:

• Trimming weeds
• Painting
• Confined space and spark watch
• Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
• Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 40lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling, pounding with hammer and work in confined spaces with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
• Basic computer experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Experience operating machinery and/or industrial equipment such as forklifts
• Experience working in a production or plant environment
