Description

The Sourcing & Package Development Specialist is central to our company identity and Point of Difference. In this role, you will take product briefs, select the best global manufacturing partners from our extensive network of partnering manufacturers to fulfill the requirements, and collaborate closely with customers, manufacturers, and the internal GHI team to take projects from initial brief to final delivery on-time and with exceptional quality.

Projects vary from primary packaging through full turn-key in every sector of the beauty industry including and not limited to cosmetics, fragrance and skincare. 

On-site is required at least 3 days per week, preferably 5 days with some flexibility to work from home when needed.

Requirements

Experience: 3 to 5+ years of package development and/or sourcing experience within the beauty or personal care industry.
Material Knowledge: Clear technical understanding of plastic and glass manufacturing; experience with paper packaging is highly preferred also. Knowledge of makeup brushes, sponges, puffs and bags is also a plus. 
Mindset: Highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and energized by a fast-paced, close-knit office environment.
