Our client is a leading investment platform managing both RMB and USD funds with total AUM of ~30 billion RMB. Our team consists of 20+ investment professionals and 50 staff overall, with a strong focus on high-tech and AI sectors.

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Associate (Private Equity) with ~5 years of buyside experience to join our private equity team. The candidate will report to the Industry Leader and play a supportive but critical role in sourcing, due diligence, and execution of investments in high-tech and AI.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in sourcing and evaluating private investment opportunities in high-tech/AI.
2. Conduct industry research, financial analysis, and due diligence on target companies.
3. Support deal execution, including preparation of investment memos and transaction documents.
4. Work closely with senior team members on portfolio monitoring and value creation initiatives.
5. Collaborate across RMB and USD funds to ensure alignment of investment strategies.

Qualifications

1. Outstanding academic background (top-tier university, finance/economics/engineering preferred).
2. ~5 years of buyside experience (private equity, hedge fund, or family office).
3. Strong understanding of high-tech/AI sectors and ability to assess emerging trends.
4. Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
5. Fluent in Mandarin and English; Cantonese a plus.
