At the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth), you'll serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, partnering across one of the largest health systems in Hudson Valley. From complex business transactions and employment matters to regulatory guidance and corporate strategy, your work will directly influence decisions that impact patients, caregivers and the future of healthcare.
You'll work alongside senior leaders, physicians, Human Resources, Compliance, Risk Management and other key stakeholders to navigate complex legal challenges while helping the organization achieve its strategic goals.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as legal counsel on complex healthcare, corporate and employment law matters
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of contracts and legal agreements
- Advise leadership on business transactions, regulatory compliance and organizational risk
- Partner with Human Resources on employee relations, workplace investigations, accommodations and labor matters
- Research and interpret healthcare laws, regulations and public benefit corporation requirements
- Collaborate with Compliance, Purchasing and Risk Management teams
- Provide practical, business-focused legal guidance that supports informed decision-making
- May provide leadership and oversight for legal staff and special projects

Ideal candidates will be experienced attorneys who enjoy solving complex problems, balancing legal risk with business objectives and building trusted relationships across an organization. Ideal candidates bring:
- Significant experience practicing healthcare, corporate or employment law
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent judgment, communication and relationship-building abilities
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative mindset with a strategic, solutions-oriented approach
- Experience advising senior leaders on complex legal and regulatory matters
