About the Role
We are looking for a Scrum Master to support enterprise Data & Analytics initiatives for one of the leading healthcare organizations in the US. The ideal candidate will possess strong Agile delivery experience, expertise in Azure DevOps (ADO), and the ability to successfully lead cross-functional teams delivering data engineering, business intelligence, reporting, and analytics solutions. Experience supporting healthcare data programs and enterprise Agile delivery is highly preferred
Role Objective
- Facilitates Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
- Partners with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Data Engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to prioritize and deliver business value.
- Manages Agile delivery using Azure DevOps (ADO), including backlog management, user stories, sprint planning, work item tracking, dashboards, and reporting. Maintains ADO hygiene and structure so that status is transparent and self-service for teams and stakeholders, minimizing the need for manual status requests.
- Tracks sprint progress using Agile metrics including velocity, burndown, capacity, sprint commitments, and release readiness.
- Facilitates story estimation, backlog grooming, sprint planning, release planning, and capacity planning activities.
- Identifies and removes delivery impediments while proactively managing risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID).
- Coordinates cross-functional dependencies across technology, data, analytics, and business teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Translates Azure DevOps data into executive-friendly reporting (dashboards, presentations) for project leadership and stakeholders.
- Promotes Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and team collaboration to improve delivery maturity and effectiveness.
- Supports enterprise Data & Analytics initiatives including data engineering, data warehousing, reporting, business intelligence, and cloud-based analytics programs.
- Collaborates effectively with geographically distributed onshore and offshore delivery teams.
- May serve as an Agile coach and trusted advisor, helping teams improve Agile adoption, delivery practices, and overall team performance.
Required Technical Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of IT experience including at least 3 -5 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master for Agile delivery teams.
- Strong hands-on experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog management, sprint planning, work tracking, dashboards, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean Agile principles.
- Experience supporting Data & Analytics initiatives involving data engineering, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, reporting, business intelligence, advanced analytics or cloud data platforms.
- Experience facilitating Agile delivery across cross-functional teams consisting of Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA Engineers, Data Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders.
- Must be available to support US Pacific Time zone business hours and demonstrate flexibility to coordinate with geographically distributed offshore teams as required
- Strong English language proficiency, including verbal communication, written documentation, meeting facilitation, and executive-level status reporting.

Nice to have
- Experience working within Healthcare Payer organizations.
- Familiarity with healthcare data domains including Claims, Membership, Enrollment, Providers, Clinical, Quality, Risk Adjustment, or Regulatory Reporting.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification.
- Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, SQL Server, Power BI, Tableau, or other enterprise analytics platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise cloud migration, data modernization, or analytics transformation initiatives.
- Experience working within distributed onshore/offshore delivery models.
