Position Overview: The Project Assistant will support the team's efforts to maintain the Food Resource Directory, provide assistance during cooking classes and education sessions, package and deliver emergency meals to consumers, work on outreach projects, support sub-projects associated with HRSN integration program, and provide consumer coordination supports for new referrals.
Position Responsibilities: Connect consumers with appropriate resources to address a myriad of food insecurity concerns. Research food resources, and update/maintain online Food Resources Directory. Create and distribute flyers and information about Phoenix Food Hub programs at various outreach events. Send all care plans/assessments to Accountable Care Organization (ACO) partners. Management of NRLP 1-800 number, along with assisting with management of the NRLP email inbox. Data entry and QA project which may include data entry and ensuring all members have a PCP listed. Scheduling and coordination of department meetings as needed. Prepare and process a variety of administrative web-based forms, order group office supplies, sort area mail.
Hours: Full Time- 35-40 hours Monday through Friday
Pay: Starting pay range $21.50-$22.50
Requirements
Qualifications
*Associate's Degree in Human Services or similar field. BA preferred.
*Three (3) or more years of increasingly complex administrative/data organization experience required.
*Bilingual (Spanish) required
*Community Health Worker (CHW) certification preferred
*Effective written and oral communication skills
*Strong analytical skills
*Well versed in the Microsoft Suite including Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Teams
*Fast & accurate data entry skills
*Ability to work independently as well as with others
*Effective at prioritizing and handling multiple concurrent tasks
*Must have reliable transportation and a valid MA driver's license with the ability to participate in community outreach events as necessary
*Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information and documents with discretion and according to GLSS policies and HIPAA guidelines
*Adheres to Agency confidentiality standards
*Ability to process information accurately and to make appropriate decisions based on the specific situation and circumstances
