Description
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Hybrid) - cross-functional collaboration with engineering team in EgyptEmployment Type: Full-time
Compensation Range: SAR 5,000 - 15,000 / month (based on experience)
Reporting To: Product Lead / Founder
About the Company
Our client is a Saudi-based technology company building an AI-enabled platform that automates Government Relations Operations (GRO) and HR management for companies operating in the Kingdom. The internal version of the platform is already live and used daily by operations teams. The company is now preparing to launch externally as a self-service SaaS product, with an expanding HR module roadmap.
Role Summary
We are hiring a Product Manager to own the roadmap, specification, and delivery of core features across the GRO and HR platform. You will work directly with the founder, design, and engineering (Saudi-Egypt distributed team) to ship a product that customers can adopt without needing human-in-the-loop services.
This is a builder's role. You will write specs, run sprints, unblock engineers, and ship weekly.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for one or more modules of the GRO/HR platform (e.g., onboarding, employee lifecycle, compliance workflows, government portal integrations).
- Translate customer insights and business requirements into clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Partner with engineering leads to plan sprints, manage the backlog, and deliver releases on schedule.
- Coordinate cross-functionally between the Saudi commercial team and the Egypt-based engineering team - bridging timezone, language, and context gaps.
- Define and monitor product KPIs: activation, feature adoption, workflow completion, error rates, and time-to-value.
- Work with design on usability testing and with the PMF Specialist on validation loops.
- Maintain the product documentation, release notes, and internal changelog.
- Support launch readiness alongside commercial and operations leads.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS, HR tech, fintech, or compliance tech.
- Shipped at least one product or major module from concept to production.
- Strong technical fluency - comfortable reading APIs, understanding integrations, and discussing architecture trade-offs with engineers.
- Experience working with distributed teams, ideally across Gulf and North Africa.
- Familiarity with Saudi HR/GRO systems (Qiwa, GOSI, Muqeem, Mudad, Absher Business) is strongly preferred.
- Bilingual Arabic and English.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
- Experience with Odoo or similar ERP/HR platforms.
- Exposure to AI/LLM-powered product features (agents, automation, document intelligence).
- Early-stage startup experience.
Benefits
You will be the first dedicated Product Manager on a platform with real revenue, real customers, and real engineering velocity. You will own outcomes, not just tickets, and you will have a direct line to the founder on every major decision.
