A LMM Buyout Private Equity firm based out of Tampa, FL is looking to add an Associate onto the team following Investment Bankiing bonuses this Summer. The firm is well established having been around for several decades and focuses on a number of different industries. They're in the process of beginning to raise their next fund and looking for someone to join the team for the long term. Responsibilities

• Support the deal team across the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio company monitoring
• Build and analyze detailed financial models (LBOs, operating models, valuation analyses) to evaluate potential investments
• Conduct industry, market, and company-level research across a range of sectors
• Assist with investment committee materials, lender presentations, and fund-related reporting
• Work closely with senior investment professionals, management teams, advisors, and financing partners
• Participate in portfolio company initiatives, including strategic planning, add-on acquisitions, and operational improvement efforts

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in M&A Investment Banking
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated interest in private equity and long-term career progression within a PE firm
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, lower-middle-market environment
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively as part of a lean team
• Bachelor's degree
