Deaconess Health System is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Pain Medicine physicians to join growing pain management programs in Jasper, Indiana, Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and Marion, Illinois.
These opportunities offer a range of practice models — from an established, high-volume outpatient program to the opportunity to help build a new service line from the ground up. This is an especially attractive opportunity for a physician who values autonomy and wants to help develop a program while still having the support of a larger health system.
Practice highlights:
- Opportunity to build a new service line from the ground up
- Approximately 90% outpatient / 10% inpatient
- Combination of interventional procedures and medication management
- Solo practice model with strong collaboration and health-system support
- Strong OR, ICU, ER and medical-floor support
- Experienced Pain Medicine physician at a nearby sister hospital for collaboration and support
- Shared call coverage

Compensation & benefits:
- $550,000 guaranteed base salary during first year
- Additional productivity and quality incentives
- $50,000 sign-on bonus with a five-year contract
- Up to $2,000/month residency/fellowship stipend for up to 24 months, where applicable
- 5 weeks vacation + 1 week CME
- $3,500 annual CME stipend
- $1,000 annual CME technology allowance
- $750 computer allowance every five years
- 401(k) and 457(b) retirement plans

- Up to $15,000 relocation assistance
