Description

Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a passion for natural resources and an understanding of the legal intricacies within the oil and gas sector, including regulatory compliance, contracts, title examination, real property transactions and more. Because this position is geared towards new graduates, Kuiper Law Firm will provide training and mentorship. This role is a full-time, in-office position located at our office in the Denver Tech Center.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active CO, WY, ND, OK or NM State Bar membership.
2-3 years of experience practicing law with a focus on oil and gas.
Recent grads taking the CO, WY, ND, OK or NM bar exam in July, with requisite interest, will also be considered.
Landman experience a plus
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of professionalism and commitment to client service.
