Medical Director: Ben Taub Hospital
The Henry J.N. Taub Department of Emergency Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston is seeking an experienced medical director for emergency medicine at Ben Taub, a public hospital with about 80,000 annual emergency visits and certified stroke, STEMI and Level 1 trauma programs.

KEY DUTIES INCLUDE
- Ensure the ED care delivery model achieves high-quality emergency care and evolves to match the needs of the patients; ensure that medical staff policies support the department and hospital vision for ED care; lead quality assurance and improvement initiatives; monitor patient experience and patient flow.
- Lead ED regulatory compliance and prepare for related accreditation/certification surveys.
- Communicate between the ED, medical staff and hospital committees as appropriate.
