Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School is seeking a Medical Director for the Section of Transfusion Medicine within the Department of Pathology. This faculty leadership position will oversee Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, the medical school’s 650-bed tertiary care teaching hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
The Medical Director will lead a multidisciplinary transfusion team, supporting patient safety, regulatory compliance, and the advancement of transfusion medicine practices. This opportunity combines clinical leadership with teaching and research within an academic medical environment.
Position Highlights:
- Provide medical leadership for Transfusion Medicine and Blood Banking services.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support safe, high-quality transfusion practices.

Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated salary for this position if hired to work is $330,000 per year.
