- Lead Health & Wellness Coach
Description
Timber Health is hiring a founding Lead Health & Wellness Coach to build our holistic coaching program from the ground up — the consultation frameworks, the tools and documentation coaches work from, the quality standards, and the network of credentialed contractor coaches who deliver it.
About Timber Health
Timber Health is a direct-to-consumer telehealth company supporting adults across weight management, hormone health, sexual wellness, sleep, hair loss, and longevity and peptide therapies. Clinical care is delivered by licensed clinicians through our third-party provider network. We are cash-pay and do not bill insurance.
About the Role
Reporting to the CEO, you'll own the coaching function end to end. The role has two halves: program leadership first — designing the coaching program, authoring tools and documentation, building and orienting a network of contractor coaches, and reporting on performance — and coaching second, conducting consultations yourself as business needs require.
What You'll Do
Program design and documentation
Create Timber Health's holistic coaching program: consultation structure, standard wellness check-in, behavior-change methodology guidance, and customer journey.
Draft the tools, templates, and SOPs coaches use in service delivery.
Maintain program materials as treatments, workflows, and compliance requirements evolve.
Coach network and quality
Source and screen credentialed contractor coaches against our Credential Standard; recommend engagements to the CEO.
Deliver orientation covering the platform, documentation standards, scope boundaries, the neutral Wellness Review handoff, and escalation protocol.
Conduct quality reviews of documentation, scope adherence, and handoff neutrality; provide feedback tied to documented standards.
Customer experience & reporting
Partner with Customer Support to resolve coaching-related issues and close the loop with program fixes.
Define and track coaching KPIs (utilization, satisfaction, documentation quality, engagement) and report to executive leadership.
Coaching delivery
Conduct virtual wellness coaching consultations as needed, held to the same standards as the coach network.
A Note on Scope
Coaching at Timber Health is non-clinical. Coaches do not diagnose, recommend or advise on medication, interpret labs, or provide medical nutrition therapy. Clinical questions are escalated to licensed healthcare professionals, and disclosures outside coaching are offered a neutral handoff on the customer's terms. Nothing in this role's pay is tied to handoffs or purchases.
Why Join Timber Health
This is a rare coaching role where the program is genuinely yours to design — you'll define how coaching works at Timber Health before the first customer arrives, build the standards and team that deliver it, and work directly with leadership.

5+ years of health and wellness coaching experience, including direct-to-consumer, cash-pay coaching delivery.
2+ years in a lead, supervisory, or program-management capacity over coaches or a comparable service-delivery team.

Working command of behavior change: goal setting, motivational interviewing, stage-appropriate coaching.
Strong written documentation skills and a bias toward process and standards.
Comfort defining metrics, reading a dashboard, and reporting to an executive audience.

Strongly Preferred
Coaching experience within a men's health brand and/or multi-treatment telehealth brand.
