Private Equity Associate - Industrials

Our client is a highly regarded lower middle market private equity firm seeking an Associate to join its Industrials investment team.

The successful candidate will work closely with Principals and Partners across a variety of investment opportunities and portfolio company initiatives. The firm operates with lean deal teams, providing Associates with broad exposure and significant responsibility throughout the investment lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and execute new platform investment opportunities
• Perform financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis
• Conduct industry, market, and company due diligence
• Support transaction execution and deal process management
• Participate in add-on acquisition sourcing and execution
• Assist in investment committee materials and presentations
• Partner with portfolio companies on strategic and operational initiatives
• Monitor portfolio company performance and support value creation efforts

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of investment banking experience
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Experience supporting M&A transactions and due diligence processes
• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and strong work ethic
• Interest in private equity investing and company building
