About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and accomplished Investment Director to join our high-performing team, built on a foundation of reputable investor, recognition, excellence, and shared principles. As a vital member of the Investment Team, you will spearhead investment initiatives, drive deal sourcing, lead rigorous due diligence, and deliver transformative value creation. Key Responsibilities:

• Deal Sourcing: Proactively identify, assess, and cultivate relationships with potential investment targets to build a robust deal pipeline.
• Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with tech companies, founders, and industry leaders to source new opportunities and enhance the firm’s market presence.
• Investment Process Management: Oversee all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, evaluating opportunities, conducting due diligence, and coordinating deal execution.
• Portfolio Management: Take an ownership approach to support portfolio companies by driving strategic initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering value-add projects.
• Market Research: Prepare pitch decks and other marketing materials to support business development and conduct market research on relevant investment sectors.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare comprehensive reports, investment memorandums, and presentations to communicate findings including portfolio performance and strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of deals and portfolio management activities.
• Thought Leadership: Contribute to the firm’s thought leadership by representing the organization in the investment community and industry events.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, strategy consulting, Big 4 advisory, or a related field.
• Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with founders, C-level executives, and investors.
• Tech Ecosystem Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Ukrainian tech ecosystem with an established network of founders, startups, and investors.
• Analytical Skills: Advanced financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and presentation skills.
• Strategic Mindset: Ability to think critically, identify opportunities, and propose actionable strategies for portfolio growth and value creation.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Ukrainian and English.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable with a passion for working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
