Group Product Manager (m/f/d)
Full-time (38,5 h/week) | Permanent Employment

Your Impact within the OQEMA Group:

• Develop and implement the Group strategy for assigned products and product families; define product positioning, application focus and target industries
• Lead strategic supplier relationships on a European level, conduct commercial negotiations and develop supplier strategies to ensure competitiveness and supply security
• Own the commercial performance of the assigned product portfolio, define pricing strategies, margin expectations and profitability targets
• Support demand forecasting, optimize inventory levels and working capital together with Supply Chain and local Purchasing
• Coordinate multinational customer opportunities and strategic growth initiatives across all European entities; ensure consistent implementation of Group product and sourcing strategies
• Monitor market developments, industry trends and competitive activities; prepare market assessments and strategic recommendations for senior management
• Define relevant KPIs, prepare business reviews and performance reports, and report business performance to the Group Director Central Purchasing Department
• Collaborate closely with Local Purchasing Organizations, Sales, Supply Chain, KAM, CLT, GBD, Logistics, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management and Executive Management

What we are looking for:

• Education / Degree
• M.A. in Business Administration or a related field.
• Several years of experience in Product Management, Strategic Purchasing or Category Management is desirable.
• Experience within chemical distribution, specialty chemicals or industrial raw materials is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiations and international sourcing.
• Product Management, Strategic Purchasing & Supplier Relationship Management.
• Market Analysis, Pricing Strategy & Portfolio Management
• Inventory Management & Financial Analysis (P&L, margins, profitability)
• Project Management
• Strong commercial and analytical capabilities
