What makes this a great opportunity?This is a high-impact role at the intersection of commercial planning and supply chain delivery for one of Suntory Global Spirits' key markets. You will lead France's demand planning and fulfillment activities, working closely with Sales, Finance and global Centers of Excellence to drive a single aligned "one number" plan. The role offers exposure to international S&OP, cross-functional leadership, customer collaboration, and opportunities to influence process maturity and cost-to-serve improvements across the value chain. You will be a member of the France Leadership Team with direct influence on local commercial and operational decisions.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the France Demand Planning process, acting as the primary interface with the sales organization to ensure a robust, disciplined and collaborative planning cadence.
- Deliver efficient commercial interaction as part of the local S&OP process, ensuring a smooth transition from volume to value and alignment across commercial and supply partners.
- Partner with Finance to drive the "one number" principle and ensure financial alignment between demand plans and budgets/forecasts.
- Provide timely and accurate inputs into Cluster and International S&OP processes, supporting consolidated planning and scenario analysis.
- Participate in local Product Reviews and Market Activity Reviews to translate promotional and launch plans into demand signals and supply requirements.
- Own daily order management and lead the Customer Service function; supervise the Customer Service Coordinator to deliver high service levels and timely order fulfilment.
- Manage 3PL relationships, lead monthly business reviews (MBRs) and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) in collaboration with the SCP&F Director, driving continuous improvement and cost-to-serve efficiencies.
- Lead customer collaboration projects with commercial teams to improve order-to-deliver performance, increase fill rates, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Own process health checks and continuous improvement for the Order-to-Deliver (OTD) end-to-end process, driving OTD maturity in close collaboration with CoE Teams.
- Collaborate and interface with central/cluster functions (Supply Planning, Quality, Sustainability, Master Data, etc.) to ensure data integrity and cross-functional alignment.
- Monitor and drive cost-to-serve improvements while maintaining or improving service levels and inventory efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
- At least 3-5 years' experience in demand planning, S&OP or commercial planning within FMCG or consumer goods; experience working in a matrixed international organisation is desirable.
- At least 2-4 years' exposure to order management/customer service and 3PL relationship management.
- Strong working knowledge of S&OP processes, demand planning tools and best practices; experience with forecasting tools and ERP/MRP systems is desirable.
- Proven ability to partner with Finance and Commercial teams to align demand and financial plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French (fluent) and English.
- Demonstrable analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions and measure performance.
Other Personal Skills (Preferred / Desirable)
- Experience working with global Centers of Excellence and cross-border stakeholders is desirable.
- Prior experience managing/mentoring junior team members or a small customer service team is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills; commercial mindset and customer focus.
- Proficiency in Excel and demand planning/ERP tools; knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting tools is desirable.
- Detail-oriented with a bias for action and continuous improvement.
