CLINICAL CARDIOLOGY OPPORTUNITY
MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a full-time clinical cardiologist (non-interventional) for their Biddeford based practice with inpatient duties at Maine Medical Center and outpatient activity centered in our Scarborough ambulatory center.
This position offers:
- Opportunities for leadership roles in education and research for the appropriate applicant.
- Selected candidates will join a team of over 50 cardiologists who provide inpatient, outpatient and consultative services.
- A growing practice with office locations in Augusta, Waterville, Lewiston, Rockport, and Scarborough, and a nationally recognized inpatient cardiovascular service line at Maine Medical Center which serves as the hub for the extended MaineHealth network.
- Providing patients across the state with the highest quality cardiac care, working closely with other regional hospitals to build a coordinated network of cardiology services.
- Direct teaching role with Maine Medical Center’s Cardiology Fellows, as well as teaching and mentoring medical students from the Maine Medical Center-Tufts University School of Medicine Medical School Program.
- Academic appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine.
- Team-based care model with collaborative approach to care.
Qualifications:
- MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification/Board Eligible.

The annual base salary for this position is $620,000.
