Position Overview: The Business Development Manager leads the identification, evaluation, and development of new business opportunities that support GLSS's strategic goals, revenue diversification, and operational expansion.
Position Responsibilities: The Business Development Manager role focuses on sourcing partnerships, developing shared services opportunities, and cultivating customer relationships with community organizations, municipalities, health systems, other non-profits and potential feeforservice clients. This position works closely with the CEO, CFO, and Senior leadership team to translate GLSS's strengths into scalable service offerings, with a particular emphasis on developing new shared-service lines, supporting relationship management, and assisting with outreach and inreach efforts across internal teams.
Requirements
Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
*5+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, nonprofit operations, or related roles.
*Specific experience having developed and executed strategies to enter new markets and increase marked visibility and presence.
*Strong analytical abilities with comfort working with financial models, business cases and market analysis.
*Strong negotiation, networking, communication, and strategic planning skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead presentations and represent GLSS professionally.
*Relationshipbuilder with a customercentric mindset.
*Knowledge of human services, elder services, social services, or healthcare strongly preferred.
*Project management experience a plus.
