How You'll Make an Impact
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Bilingual (FR/ENG) Associate - Product Management to take part in shaping and delivering our product portfolio for utilities across Africa.
You will take part in gathering and analyzing user, operational, and market data, translating business needs into clear product requirements, and supporting the delivery and deployment of our software solutions for an assigned module.
Working closely with Engineering, Commercial, Strategy, and Operations, you will help coordinate requirements, support testing and release readiness, and contribute insights that inform roadmap priorities and continuous product improvement.
What You'll Do
Product Strategy, Research and Prioritization
- Conducts user and market research activities and gathers feedback from clients and users
- Organizes and summarizes research findings, user feedback, and improvement requests
- Contributes inputs and recommendations for roadmap planning of an assigned module
- Coordinates requirements definition, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria for an assigned module
- Coordinates with Design, Engineering, QA, and other internal Tech teams to clarify requirements and support development activities
- Reviews delivered features, ensures requirements are met, and supports release readiness activities
- Maintains product documentation and ensures requirements, workflows, and product changes are properly documented
- Support implementation teams by answering simple product questions and clarifying requirements and workflows during product deployment phases
- Track product-related issues identified during deployments and follow up with Engineering and internal Tech teams
- Collect deployment feedback and document product improvement opportunities and user requests
Professional & Technical Strengths
- Experience or exposure to product management or a related function within SaaS, enterprise software, or technology environments
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and comfortable operating within structured delivery processes
- Ability to translate straightforward user and business needs into clear, well-defined product requirements
- Comfortable using research, user feedback, and data to organize findings and support product decisions
- Technical fluency to engage confidently with Engineering and other internal Tech teams during requirements and delivery discussions
- Fluency in French
- Ability to collaborate with multicultural and geographically distributed teams
- High degree of autonomy and accountability (we operate within a hybrid work environment)
- Keeps communication clear and consistent, adapts messaging to the audience, and handles complex conversations with professionalism and discretion
- Applies critical thinking to identify improvement opportunities and root causes, and recommends balanced solutions that consider impact on other teams
- Adapts approach when priorities change, stays solutions-focused and collaborative under pressure, and accepts feedback constructively
- Experience within energy, utilities, infrastructure, or cleantech sectors
- Exposure to grid management systems, SCADA, or enterprise utility software
