About our client

Our client is an entrepreneurial lower mid-market private equity firm, specialising in high-potential investments across the DACH region. With a strong focus on technology-driven value creation, they partner with ambitious companies to drive transformative growth.

Headquartered in Berlin, the firm is now looking to expand its team by hiring a talented Associate and/or Senior Associate to play a key role in sourcing, executing, and managing investments. This role is based in Berlin, candidates must therefore be willing to relocate and work on-site. What the job involves

• Deal Sourcing & Origination - Identifying investment opportunities and building industry relationships
• Financial Analysis & Valuation - Performing financial modeling, company valuations (DCF, LBO), and due diligence
• Transaction Execution - Supporting deal structuring, negotiations, and investment committee presentations
• Portfolio Management - Working with portfolio companies to drive growth, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives
• Exit Strategy - Assisting in preparing and executing exit processes
• Investor & Internal Reporting - Preparing reports for senior leadership, LPs, and contributing to fundraising efforts

Who we are looking for

• Solid academic foundation in business, finance or a related field
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• 2-5 years of professional experience, ideally gained in top-tier investment banking, or private equity
• Team player with an entrepreneurial approach and a commercial mindset
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in German and English are a must
