macro.one is hiring Associates with prior PE, IB, or consulting experience who are ready to lead transactions end-to-end and drive value creation across infrastructure assets. This is a high-ownership role with direct exposure to investment decisions and portfolio operations.
- Lead end-to-end investment processes: sourcing, diligence, structuring, and execution
- Coordinate legal, financial, and technical due diligence with external advisors
- Build and maintain detailed financial models: three-statement projections, DCF, LBO, and returns waterfall
- Develop and present strategic materials to the investment committee
- Monitor financial and operational performance across portfolio companies
- Drive value creation initiatives and support platform growth strategies
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting
- Ability to lead multiple processes in parallel with full ownership and accountability
- Advanced financial modeling and knowledge of valuation methodologies: DCF, LBO, multiples, scenario analysis
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills in both Spanish and English
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities; capable of managing external advisors and counterparties
- Broad understanding of the digital infrastructure: data centers, fiber networks, telecom, cloud, and GPU compute
- Leadership mindset with a drive to mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
- Candidate CFA Program is desirable
