OverviewSarnova is the leading national specialty distributor of health care products in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Respiratory Markets and is the industry leader in Revenue Cycle Management within Emergency Medical Services (EMS). The company operates through several market-leading companies including Tri-anim Health Services, the largest specialty distributor of respiratory products, Bound Tree Medical, the largest supplier of EMS products, and Cardio Partners, a full Sudden Cardiac Arrest Solution provider, and Digitech, the leader in EMS revenue cycle management.
This would be a Hyrid Schedule. Monday - Thursday in office, Friday work from home.
This role directly contributes to cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) savings, supplier performance improvement, and strategic decision-making. By delivering accurate and timely procurement analytics, the Procurement Analyst helps ensure Sarnova maintains strong vendor relationships, competitive pricing, and operational excellence.
ResponsibilitiesThe Procurement Analyst plays a critical role in supporting strategic sourcing and cost optimization initiatives across the organization. This position is responsible for analyzing procurement data, monitoring supplier performance, and providing actionable insights that drive value and efficiency in the supply chain.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance procurement databases and dashboards to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
• Analyze procurement spend data to monitor spending patterns and identify cost-savings opportunities
• Collaborate with Product Management teams to develop and maintain RFP calendar
• Research and track cost trends, raw material market indices, and tariffs to assist senior management in decision-making
• Assist in contract management and compliance tracking, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance against contractual KPIs and publish supplier scorecards to be utilized in quarterly business reviews; initiate penalties for non-compliance
• Prepare Procurement analyses, reports and presentations to support COGS savings initiatives
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within procurement operations
• Perform risk assessments related to supplier reliability, geopolitical factors, and market volatility
• Additional job duties as assigned
Skills/Experience Required:
• Education: Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, business, finance or related field
• Minimum 3 years' industry experience in procurement or supply chain management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Experience using procurement software and tools
• Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
• Results-oriented, self-motivated individual who can work in a team environment
