Our client is a prestigious investment fund with a strong track record and a global investment remit. This is an exciting and rare opportunity for a investment professional to join their team based in the United Arab Emirates. The role will focus on direct and co-investments across VC and growth and will provide exposure to every aspect of the investment process. What the job involves

• Actively sourcing and originating direct and co-investment opportunities across the global venture capital strategy
• Build and maintain close relationships with VC/growth focused fund managers
• Monitor the performance of portfolio companies and lead the preparation of company reviews
• Use macroeconomic, technological, and sectoral trends to identify emerging opportunities in innovation hubs across the globe
• Support in the development of internal investment frameworks and research capabilities

Who we are looking for

• Strong technical expertise in financial modelling, company valuation and transaction structuring
• Extensive understanding of VC/growth equity dynamics, as well as portfolio construction methodologies
• Understanding of specific trends across sectors such as AI, fintech and digital health
• Capabilities across AI-enabled productivity tools as well as knowledge of industry platforms like Preqin
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
• Stakeholder management skills that can flex across internal teams as well as external partners
• The ability to relocate full-time to Abu Dhabi
