The team focuses on commercialising breakthrough research from leading universities, supporting PhDs and technical founders as they transform world-class research into venture-scale companies. From robotics and AI to biotech and advanced materials, their portfolio spans technologies tackling some of the most ambitious problems in science and industry.
The fund has already invested in dozens of startups across Europe, often as the first institutional investor. Over time, you will lead your own investments and build a personal portfolio, working closely with founders as they navigate the early stages of company building.
The role will involve significant engagement across continental Europe, developing networks with technical founders, research institutions, and startup ecosystems.The team operates much like the start-ups they back: fast-moving, ambitious, and hands-on. With a lean team and growing platform, new joiners are given meaningful ownership early.
What the job involves
- Sourcing and identifying promising technical founders across Europe
- Evaluating cutting-edge technologies and investment opportunities
- Conducting market and technical diligence
- Supporting deal execution and negotiations
- Building relationships with founders and helping portfolio companies scale
- Representing the fund across the European startup and research ecosystem
- You have a demonstrated passion for deeptech subsectors
- You are proactive, determined and an over-achiever
