Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Senior Product Owner-Response Solutions supports the Marketing, Sales, and IT
Divisions in defining, prioritizing, and executing product strategy, product design,
product marketing, and customer acquisition and retention. This role bridges the gap
between business strategy goals and technical execution.
Location: North America / Remote (MT/CT/ET time zone preferred)
Responsibilities:
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for ePCR/Fire and related products,
aligning with company goals while championing customer needs, configurations,
and feature requests. - Develop and execute a marketing and sales strategy in collaboration with Sales,
Client Success, Implementation, IT, and external stakeholders to identify problems
and deliver valuable, feasible, and high-quality solutions. - Review, validate, and prioritize product defects and enhancements, balancing
short-term sprint needs with long-term roadmap objectives. - Act as the subject matter expert for assigned modules, engaging with clients,
implementation teams, and leadership to ensure solutions meet operational,
technical, and business needs. - Use data, research, customer feedback, and product testing to inform decisions
and ensure consistency, usability, and quality across all features. - Partner with Sales and Client Success on demos and related sales efforts, RFP
responses, and evaluations; support go-to-market readiness for new features and
releases. - Develop sales enablement materials and train internal teams on product
enhancements. - Build alignment and secure buy-in with senior leadership by clearly communicating
product vision, tradeoffs, progress, and outcomes. - Mentor product managers and cross-functional team members in product
management best practices. - Grow the existing customer base while increasing focus on pursuing and investing in
new high-value accounts; develop and build senior-level relationships with major
accounts and targets. - Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to
position the company as a leader in the market. - Foster relationships with key executives and collaborate with leaders in Client
Success to maximize growth opportunities. - Represent Digitech at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
to promote brand awareness and business development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in similar roles for a SaaS product; experience in public
safety or Govtech software preferred. - Prior ownership of one or more SaaS products or product areas.
- 5+ years of experience leading one or more scrum teams, ideally teams in different
time zones and locations. - Extensive experience developing an understanding of customer needs with a track
record of solving their problems; a proven 'customer first' mentality and
commitment to customer satisfaction. - Strong ability to make strategic prioritization decisions, considering requirements,
resources, and deadlines. - Proficiency in breaking down broad product concepts into thorough, validated
product requirements and specifications. - Experience using AI tools as part of a PDLC, including but not limited to creating
PRDs, designs, prototypes, and coded solutions - Demonstrated technical proficiency and effectiveness working closely with other
business functions, including IT, Sales and Client Success teams. - An ability to align on long-term business strategies while driving impact on shortterm product goals
- Experience using product roadmapping tools.
- Ability to work independently in a collaborative, remote team environment.
- Excellent and concise written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Highly detail oriented and skilled in managing multiple responsibilities
- Motivated and proactive in creating and improving processes and workflows
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong leadership skills; ability to mentor team members
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree
