Purpose of the role
This is a role in LSEG's Reward team, working alongside the Head of Executive Remuneration in managing, implementing and maintaining effective executive remuneration programmes to ensure alignment to long-term, sustainable high performance. You will be a pivotal part of the team working towards the review of our Remuneration Policy in a complex executive pay environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivers the programme management and implementation of Executive Remuneration, including the triennial Policy Review, Annual Compensation Review and other programmatic events.
- Analyses market and governance trends though traditional benchmarking sources and the targeted use of AI to support senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment and compliance with global best practice and regulation.
- Provides expert insight and analysis to draft key documents for the Group Remuneration Committee, Group Board and other Committees in support of informed decision-making around compensation and incentive frameworks.
- Builds executive pay packages and participates in wider global Reward projects, as appropriate.
- Reports progress against goals to senior leadership and consults with leaders to identify actions to address opportunities for enhancements.
- Develops protocols and internal knowledge to monitor compliance to relevant regulations.
- Works on issues with a diverse scope where analysis of the context or data requires evaluation and research of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current market trends.
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to deliver strategic priorities, ensuring incentive plans align with business goals, shareholder views are considered, and legal/regulatory compliance is maintained.
- Previous experience in a Reward-focused role, ideally with in-house exposure. Experience gained in an external consulting firm may be considered, provided it is complemented by in-house Reward experience. Candidates with programme management, specialist and/or generalist HR backgrounds are also suitable, where they bring a strong analytical skillset.
- Demonstrable experience of narrative- and data-based document drafting for an executive audience.
- Strong team player who has shown the ability to collaborate with multiple teams, able to demonstrate curiosity about AI and the leverage it can bring when deployed optimally in a small, data-led team.
- Ability to prioritise, handle own time, navigate ambiguity and adapt to a fast-changing environment.
- Strong written, numerical, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
