The Role
My client is leading Financial Services firm and we are looking for a Regulatory and QA specialist to join the team in Singapore. This is a 12-month maternity contract over and we are looking for a seasoned Compliance candidate that can join at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of regulatory requirements through policies, procedures, and operational controls.
• Assist with regulatory examinations, audits, and supervisory reviews, including preparation of documentation and response management.
• Track regulatory issues, findings, and remediation activities to ensure timely and effective closure.
• Design and execute quality assurance reviews and testing across products, processes, and controls.
• Evaluate adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedural standards.
• Identify gaps, root causes, and emerging risks; provide clear, actionable recommendations.
• Maintain QA frameworks, methodologies, and reporting aligned with regulatory expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Law, or a related discipline
• Approximately 5+ years of compliance experience within the Banking or Financial Services space
• Strong Regulatory experience - ideally dealing with MAS
• Familiar with QA-related policies
• Strong working knowledge of Singapore regulatory requirements under the SFA/FAA framework
• Proven experience managing regulatory engagement and inspections
• Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with senior stakeholders
