Paragon is looking for a Receiving Associate to join our team. The Receiving Associate will be responsible for performing receiving duties and inspections of a wide variety of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.

Responsibilities:

• Verifies and keeps records on incoming shipments
• Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
• Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages 
• Routes items to departments 
• Operate forklift or use hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area 
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in quality assurance inspections as they relate to material receipt and shipment
• Must be able to use basic calibrated test equipment (i.e., calipers, multi-meters, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word & Excel); Experience using any type of Enterprise Resource Planning system software a plus
• Must have attention to detail
• Must be available to work overtime including evenings and weekends with little to no advance notice
