Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior HR Business Partner will execute and deliver people processes focused on people and culture strategy, implementation of solutions to improve performance and engagement, workforce plans, learning programs and talent activities. In this role, you will partner with key stakeholders, analyze metrics at plant location and identify sensitive matters.
This is a site-based position located in Mouscron, meaning it requires on-site presence.
Key Accountabilities
- Partners to develop and implement solutions to improve performance, engagement, recruiting and retention to increase productivity and mitigate people risks while also building an inclusive culture.
- Deploys workforce plans, learning programs, talent acquisition activities and other talent programs and projects at the location.
- Leverages detailed reports and dashboards to measure, manage and analyze human resources and business performance metrics at the plant location.
- Communicates and adopts diversity, equity and inclusion policies and practices.
- Serves as location lead to drive local deployment of related activities and partners across the teams to best serve the client.
- Responds to employee and manager inquiries received on site and identifies themes, triages every day grievance matters, partners with essential teams to investigate serious and sensitive matters and manages on site audits.
- Partners with key leaders on the execution of local people and culture plans.
- Implements all plant HR operational processes including time and attendance, employee or labor relations, and benefits administration processes to support the overall compliance and effectiveness of the HR operational processes of the plant.
- Partnering with local management and stakeholders at works council meetings and union negotiations.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred labor law, HR resources, psychology) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within in the plant / manufacturing environment.
- Ability to manage end to end all the HR processes.
- Practical knowledge of Belgium labor law.
- Experience in works council and industrial relations.
- Fluent English and French - daily work in an international environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional HR certifications (e.g. coaching, training).
- Experience in multinational company, with matrix organization.
- Experience in the agricultural, food or chemical industry.
- Highly developed soft skills (leadership, influencing, conflict management, building relationship).
