• Permanent headcount, based in Singapore
• Leading private equity firm
• Open to candidates with 1-2 yrs of experience in Investment Banking or buyside, MUST speak SEA languages other than English/ Chinese due to nature of deals

Responsibilities would include:

• Support senior MDs on sourcing and assessing investment opportunities
• Build and review complex financial models, conduct valuation on private companies using comparable public companies and precedent transactions, scenario analysis, comprehensive due diligence, and provide strategic insights to senior management
• Prepare and present detailed investment memos, covering strategic rationale, risks, and financial considerations
• Form an independent opinion about an investment opportunity or a sector, present arguments and considerations effectively and communicate that verbally / in writing to defend your position during IC meetings
• Monitor industry trends, perform market research to formulate investment strategies and identify new opportunities
• Monitor the performance of the firm's existing fund managers and underlying portfolio companies

Profile of ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline
• 1-2 years of private equity, investment banking, consulting experience
• Strong technical skills i.e financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Proficiency with financial software (e.g., Excel, Capital IQ, Bloomberg)
• Strategic mindset to identify value creation opportunities, good investment and commercial acumen
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
