Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) is a progressive, multi-specialty group of physician practices offering primary care, women’s health, pediatrics, behavioral health, dental, and podiatry, walk-in care services throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. As a Federally Qualified Health Center, WMCHC is dedicated to providing accessible, high-quality care to all, regardless of income or insurance status, in a patient-centered environment.
Provides medical care, including diagnosis and treatment, to patients in the clinic following established standards and practices/protocols.
Qualifications
Maintain, in good standing, an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Maintain an unrestricted Federal Drug Enforcement Agency license.
Remain in good standing as a member of the Medical Staff of Hospital.
Abide by the ethics of the medical profession and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations.
Knowledge of professional medical theory, practice, and medical care to give and evaluate patient care.
Knowledge of organizational policies, regulations and procedures to administer patient care.
Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
Skill in applying and modifying the principles, methods, and techniques as a professional health care provider; in taking medical history to assess medical condition and interpret findings.
Skill in preparing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence.
Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance, in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
Ability to maintain quality control standards and ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures and to communicate clearly.
