This position will report directly to the Head of DACH and is a unique opportunity to join an entrepreneurial team within a high-performing international firm as an Origination Analyst, supporting deal origination across the DACH region. What the job involves

• Driving deal origination across the DACH region through market mapping, target identification, and sector research
• Building and managing a high-quality pipeline of investment opportunities, including tracking activity via CRM tools
• Conducting initial analysis of target companies and supporting the development of investment theses
• Developing relationships with founders, management teams, and intermediaries through proactive outreach and networking
• Collaborating closely with deal teams and supporting internal coordination of origination activities

Who we are looking for

• Experience in a private equity deal origination team, investment banking, consulting (e.g. PE practice, lead advisory), capital markets, or equity research at an international investment bank, or a related field with exposure to origination
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into investment insights
• Entrepreneurial, proactive profile with a genuine interest in deal sourcing and relationship building
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, low ego, and confidence in outreach and networking situations
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage and prioritize multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent academic track record
• Business fluent German and English
