Overview

Sev1Tech is looking for a Infrastructure Management/Technical Lead to support a team providing enterprise IT operations support for a DHS customer. The project is focused on infrastructure management and operations - e.g., monitoring, incident response, cybersecurity, system administration, patching, unified communications, hosting - with an emphasis on automation to:

Minimize manual intervention, improve efficiency, and reduce human errorsImplement platforms that orchestrate work-flowsfor end-to-end task executionUtilize AI as well as predictive analytics to detect anomalies, predict failures, and initiate self-healing processes to reduce downtime and improve system resilience

Responsibilities

Bachelor’s DegreeKnowledge of ITIL frameworkProgram/Project management experience5+ years’ experience leading teams and projects for developing, maintaining, and administering complex IT systems; capturing stakeholder requirements and translating into automated solutions; and managing the full application life-cycleAbility to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation effortsStrong skills in the use of Service Management tools, such as ServiceNow or RemedyIdentify and champion organizational and process changes that support automated cloud provisioning; assist with the creation and maintenance of standard cloud computing policies, operating procedures, and overall documentationExperience with Patch automation implementation and process improvements requiredExperience building road-maps, evaluating technologiesManage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment plans and checklistsWork with release engineers to understand impacts of branches and code mergesDemonstrated ability to manage relationships and coordinate cross-functional work teams (including Infrastructure, Support, On-Call, Development, Quality Assurance, Subject Matter Experts (SME), architects, and business stakeholders) towardtask completionWorking knowledge of Jenkins, configuration management database (CMDB), code packaging, Jira, Salesforce, ELK, Git Hub, AWS and basic Unix command

Qualifications

ITIL certification
Experience with Agile, Scrum, DevOps practices
