Description
Global Marketing is the lead generation engine for the Private Client Group, and the Marketing Data & Analytics Team plays a critical role in that process; guide key decisions while assessing performance.The Opportunity:
As a Marketing Data Analyst, reporting to the Data and Analytics Team Lead, you will help maintain the flow of data through the Marketing department. Providing analysis and reporting to all levels of marketing partners and support ad hoc requests and long-term developments. Using skills in SQL, Excel (can perform complex functions) , VBA, PowerBI, and more. You will build reporting and hone your project management skills to support infrastructure improvements. You will also learn how to critically assess problems and opportunities to improve bottom-line results.
The Day-to-Day:
- Work with marketing management to support all phases of marketing efforts
- Daily reporting for US and International Marketing
- Build new processes and automate existing processes
- Understand the why" and how" of department data flow
- Communicate clearly by distilling information down for a non-technical audience
- Provide data-driven analysis and insights
- Manage ad hoc data requests from marketers to help meet a variety of needs such as troubleshooting data oddities, QA'ing data, building reporting modeling, and more
- 2+ years Data Analytics experience
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, PowerBI, or relational databases
- Attention to detail and a history of managing complexity
- Demonstrated leadership and self-direction ; capacity for learning new skills and willingness to share knowledge and teach others
- Ability to communicate both technical and non-technical insights to all levels of management
- Strong project management skills
- $80,000 - $110,000 base salary per year for employees in the state of WA. Employees new to the role should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience.
- Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
