Maimonides is seeking a Director, Women’s Health, Safety and Quality to lead our quality management program for Women's Health! Partner with OB/GYN leadership to drive patient safety initiatives across inpatient and outpatient services. Perfect for a healthcare quality leader who excels at data-driven decision making and collaborative problem-solving.
Specifically, you will:
- Lead patient safety initiatives and quality improvement efforts
- Create and maintain data dashboards for safety metrics and reporting programs (NYSBEIP, Leapfrog, etc.)
- Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate improvement plans
- Collaborate with Quality Department and present data to leadership
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies (Joint Commission, ACOG, AWOHNN)
- Train staff on safety practices and regulatory compliance
We require:
- Education: MD, BSN, MS, or MSN required; Master's degree required; RN licensure preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years clinical experience, 5+ years leadership experience, quality improvement experience required.
- Skills: Expert Excel, Access, Power BI; performance improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma, Root Cause Analysis); excellent communication and interpersonal skills
