REPORTS TO: Chief Legal Officer
PAY: $130,000 + based on experience
FLSA STATUS: Exempt

WORK FROM HOME STATUS: Eligible
This role has the option to work remotely approximately 20-40% of the time, depending on business needs. (Work from home is in WI only at this time). Details will be arranged with your business leader. Note that there will be situations when the associate may choose or be asked to return onsite, which would be coordinated and scheduled in advance whenever possible.
The Director of Legal Services reports directly to the Chief Legal Officer and will play a critical role in supporting our legal and compliance functions. This position is responsible for ensuring corporate compliance, managing legal aspects of corporate transactions, and overseeing intellectual property decisions. The ideal candidate will have significant in-house legal experience and strong business acumen.
Here's what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job). Other duties may be assigned:

- Support the Chief Legal Officer in directing and managing the 4imprint's legal and compliance affairs.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal policies, procedures, and standard contract form to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and minimize risk to the company.
- Support the company's operations, sales, sourcing, human resources, and finance functions.
- Partner on internal auditing and compliance monitoring activities.
- Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations and corporate governance standards.
- Train leaders and associates on legal concepts, developments and workplace expectations.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including vendor, customer, licensing, and partnership agreements.
- Advise on intellectual property matters. Make decisions regarding trademarks, copyrights, and patents in alignment with business goals.
- Provide legal guidance on business initiatives, risk exposure, and mitigation strategies.
- Develop strong relationships with the Chief Legal Officer and key members of the 4imprint team.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on legal matters.
- Manage and coordinate with outside counsel as necessary.

Required education/experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school; active license to practice law in Wisconsin
- 5+ years of legal experience as in-house counsel for a publicly traded company.
- Strong understanding of corporate compliance, contract law, employment law and basic familiarity with intellectual property concepts.
- Demonstrated excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
