Description
We have an exciting opportunity for you to lead data strategy and governance within our Credit Card team, driving impactful business outcomes.As a Data Owner Lead within the Credit Card team, you enable innovation through strategic data use while ensuring data quality and protection. You coordinate data sourcing and usage across domains and serve as a member of the Product leadership team.
Job responsibilities
- Define and execute strategies for product data development and delivery to support business objectives, operations, analytics, and reporting
- Build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to identify and prioritize critical data, ensuring documentation and classification with metadata
- Direct the development of processes to identify, monitor, and mitigate data risks, including protection, retention, storage, use, and quality
- Ensure compliance with firmwide policies, standards, and procedures related to data integrity and protection
- Develop and maintain relationships with data delivery partners and consumers across business, technology, analytics, operations, risk, and control functions
- Demonstrate governance by tracking and managing workstreams, agreeing on KPIs, prioritizing deliverables, addressing risks, and measuring status
- Support aligned Data and Analytics leads for projects involving analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree with Ten years of industry experience in a data-related field
- Ability to query and manipulate data using technologies such as SQL and Python
- Experience managing tight delivery timelines across multiple workstreams
- Proven ability to execute through successful internal partnerships and influence across job functions
- Excellent leadership skills in managing products, programs, projects, teams, or employees
- Understanding of agile technological development methodology
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Master's degree
- Technical knowledge of data engineering, data pipelines, data modeling, and data architecture
- Deep subject matter expertise in the Credit Card area
