About the Function
We are launching the EU Media & Digital Centre (EMDC) - a bold step forward in how we deliver marketing across Europe. This team will be the centre of executional excellence for Media, Content, CRM, Data, Websites and Effectiveness - enabling our brand and category leaders to move faster, work smarter, and connect more meaningfully with consumers.
Spanning locations across Europe and working as part of the Global Consumer Digital Team, the EMDC brings together specialist talent in AI-powered media planning, data-driven creative, performance content, and precision CRM - all in service of delivering world-class experiences for our brands, at scale and with speed.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team that's not just driving campaigns - but helping reshape how marketing works. If you're excited by performance, collaboration, innovation, and doing meaningful work on a global stage, then this could be the role for you.
About the role
What you'll be doing:
As a Connected Data Manager, you'll lead the creation, optimisation, and activation of first‑party data experiences and CRM journeys across Europe. You will build consumer‑facing data capture experiences, implement automated lifecycle programs, and partner closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver personalisation at scale. You'll be hands‑on with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Consumer Data Platforms (CDP), Content Management Systems (CMS), Qualifio, and Email Design Systems (EDS) to deliver compliant, high‑quality, insight‑driven campaigns that support both data acquisition and ongoing engagement.
Role Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be:
1. Campaign Development and Execution
• Partner with brand, shopper, and marketing teams to deliver engaging first‑party data campaigns across Europe, ensuring timely delivery, accuracy, and full stakeholder approval.
• Build campaign pages, data capture forms, gamified experiences, landing pages, and email templates using tools such as SFMC, CDP, CMS, Qualifio, and EDS.
• Implement automated lifecycle journeys including onboarding, retention, re‑engagement, and advocacy.
• Brief creative agencies on requirements aligned with brand guidelines, toolkits, UX standards and channel best practice to ensure consistent, high‑quality execution across all touch points.
• Support fulfilment elements within campaign and member programme mechanics as required.
2. Test, Learn and Optimise
• Run continuous A/B and multivariate tests on offers, copy, imagery, segmentation, layout, and journey logic to drive improved performance across markets and consumer cohorts.
• Apply insights to optimise both acquisition mechanics and CRM activation strategies across channels and markets.
• Report performance metrics and insights to key stakeholders, identifying opportunities for scaling successful tactics and improving future planning.
3. Data Ingestion and Compliance
• Build and manage audience segments within the CDP, ensuring accuracy, personalisation and GDPR‑compliant targeting.
• Ensure all captured data is accurately mapped and ingested into the CDP with correctly structured fields to support downstream activation.
• Maintain high standards of data hygiene, progressive profiling, data enrichment and segmentation logic.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance of data flows, field mapping, ingestion processes, and journey readiness prior to launch.
• Collaborate with the media team to create and activate CRM audiences via paid channels, ensuring consistent targeting and activation‑readiness across platforms.
Experience / skills required
What you'll have:
Marketing Technology Expertise
Proficiency in platforms such as Qualifio, SFMC, EDS and CDP to build, optimise, and activate first-party data campaigns and consumer experiences.
Data Management Skills
Strong understanding of data forms, flows, and ingestion processes, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and database growth. Working knowledge of HTML and SQL is a plus.
Briefing & Communication
Ability to write clear, effective briefs for agencies and ensure best-in-class creative delivery. Confident communicator with stakeholders across markets, brands, and agency teams.
Detail-Oriented Execution
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure all campaigns are executed to a high standard, fully compliant with GDPR, and optimised for a seamless user experience.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
• Over 5+ years of experience in CRM or digital marketing roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing or a related technology discipline.
• Additional certifications in marketing technology platforms considered a bonus.
