The Company

Our client is a regulated virtual asset firm holding a license from the SFC in Hong Kong. We are looking for an experienced CEO to lead our company through its next growth phase.

The Role

Strategic Leadership

• Report directly to the Board and provide regular updates on company performance
• Oversee all departments including Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Business Development
• Set and execute the company's long-term vision and growth strategy

Business Development

• Generate and implement new business ideas to drive revenue and market expansion
• Identify product opportunities within the crypto and digital asset space
• Lead partnerships and strategic initiatives

Fundraising & Investor Relations

• Lead all fundraising efforts, including private placements and institutional investments
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, venture capital firms, and family offices
• Manage shareholder communications and reporting

Banking & Institutional Relationships

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with banking partners
• Ensure smooth fiat payment operations and treasury management
• Navigate banking compliance requirements for crypto firms

Regulatory & Compliance

• Ensure full adherence to SFC licensing conditions and regulatory guidelines
• Oversee AML/KYC policies, asset custody, and risk management frameworks
• Liaise with regulators, auditors, and legal counsel as the company representative

Your Profile

• 10+ years in financial services, fintech, or crypto, with exposure to SFC-regulated environments
• Proven track record in raising capital from institutional investors
• Strong relationships with banks and financial institutions in Hong Kong/Asia
• Deep understanding of blockchain, digital assets, and the Hong Kong regulatory landscape
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and reporting to a Board
• Fluent in English; Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus
• Strategic thinker with high integrity and strong risk management skills
