What You Will Be Doing
The Associate Product Developer supports the full lifecycle of FootJoy golf gloves-from market research and product specification to global SMU management and commercialization. This role collaborates closely with the FootJoy Thailand glove factory and third‑party suppliers to drive continuous innovation and development. Key responsibilities include managing the glove PLM/spec database, coordinating samples and prototypes, and leading product research and testing to validate new market opportunities. The Associate Product Developer also partners with sourcing, costing, and imports teams to meet financial targets and ensure on-time product launches, reinforcing FootJoy's position as the #1 glove in golf.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support the development, design, and end-to-end lifecycle management of FootJoy gloves, including PLM/PLC setup and commercialization timelines.
- Lead product launch execution, including sample management, photoshoots, packaging copy, marketing support, and go‑to‑market coordination.
- Conduct and support research testing with R&D, including methodology development, trend analysis, and application of insights to product development.
- Manage global SMU programs, track project progress, maintain reporting, and ensure alignment across design, product management, suppliers, manufacturing, sales, and marketing.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the golf industry and/or experience with golf gear strongly preferred.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing techniques, processes, and materials (textiles, leathers, synthetics, plastics).
- Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms and databases.
- Ability to identify product opportunities and apply foundational product development skills to golf gloves.
- Willingness to travel to international manufacturing sites approximately 1-2 times per year.

Pay Range: $69,317.00-$86,567.00
