About the Role:
We're looking for an Associate Director, Talent Acquisition to help us expand what's possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Executive Director, Talent Acquisition, you will lead activities to attract, recruit, and hire top talent for Insmed. You will be responsible for establishing strategies, processes and programs to enable quality-focused talent acquisition for assigned functional areas.
What You'll Do:
This is a hands-on role requiring sourcing, screening, networking, pipelining and interviewing of potential candidates. In addition, you will be accountable for establishing and developing effective working relationships with the business leaders (and other key stakeholders such as HR Business Partners, Total Rewards and Culture & Inclusion) to develop, lead, and manage the staffing process; and there may be future opportunity to provide day-to-day guidance to other team members.
You'll screen and recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers and provide leadership and thought partnership to hiring managers, business partners and HR Partners by acting as the internal staffing consultant.
You'll also:
- Build relationships across all departments and functions within Insmed to share internal and external talent
- Responsible for proactively sourcing candidates through internal and external channels (i.e., applicant tracking system, social media, function-specific websites), networking, pipelining, employee referrals, internal movement and other creative sourcing venues for assigned requisitions
- Demonstrates an understanding and knowledge of industry information and competitive landscape
- Responsible for embedding process, tools and systems within the business in order to improve hiring process
- Delivers high quality work and demonstrates operational excellence through utilization of recruiting tools and resources; ensures quality and integrity of metrics through discipline in process
- Develops and reviews regular recruiting metrics and reports
- Responsible for finalizing offer process, inclusive of reference checks, background screens and compensation requirements
- Responsible for intake, alignment and debrief meetings with hiring managers and interview team
- TA projects as assigned
Who You Are
A Bachelor's degree is preferred, advanced degree a plus. You'll have a minimum of 8 years in Talent Acquisition and 6+ years in the biotech/pharma industry
You are or you have:
- Thorough knowledge of applicant tracking systems, internet-based recruiting and behavioral-based interview techniques is also required. Workday Recruiting experience is a plus.
- Proven experience building, evaluating and leading teams and projects; advanced relationship management skills
- Prior experience managing a team of corporate recruiters is preferred.
- Ability to establish strong business partner relationships and to communicate at all levels in a clear and concise manner is critical.
- Experience with Talent Acquisition technology
- Prior experience successfully navigating a fast-paced, changing environment is needed.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
- Individuals must demonstrate the ability to interact successfully in a dynamic, inclusive workplace.
- Must successfully exhibit Insmed's five (5) core corporate competencies of: Excellence, Accountability, Driven, Collaborative and Solutions; along with any other position specific competencies
Where You'll Work
This is a fully remote role. It can be performed effectively from anywhere while staying connected to your Insmed team and community. Occasional travel for team meetings or events may be expected.

$155,000.00-201,500.00 Annual
